Thanks for your turnback. Today's video is preparing the Bangalore style or south indian style of sambar. Toor dal sambar is best for Idli, Dosa and Rice.
I am glad to share the recipe learnt from my mom. very tasty sambar simple way of cooking but for sure everybody at home like it. You can served this way of preparing the sambar with Idli, Dosa and Rice too. I have used homemade sambar powder. if you have homemade sambar powder then you can use it if not you can buy good sambar powder from super market.
Ingredients List :
1.5 cup toor dal
4 to 5 clove chopped
3 green chilly
1 tbsp chilly powder
turmeric pinch
sambar powder 1 tbsp
2 big tomatoes chopped
1 big onion sliced
salt as per the taste
oil
some corriander leaf chopped
for tadka
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tbsp mustard seeds
1/4 tbsp Jeera or cumin seeds
few curry leaf
1/4 tbsp chilly powder
