All this week there's been a focus on dementia - and the services available to patients and carers here in the Channel Islands. It's thought around 12 hundred people in Guernsey and another 12 hundred in Jersey are living with the condition, which affects brain function and memory.
While specialist residental care and health programmes are important - charities say activities and interaction really help to stimulate patients. Becky Lancashire reports.
