Wherever we are in this world, we have been affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Still overwhelmed by what has been taken away, we are yet to face uncertain tomorrow filled with dreadful threat of greater danger and pain (sickness, layoff, bankruptcy, financial hardship). We feel frustrated, depressed, and hopeless.

Thanks to Moses Hogan, who composed this beautiful piece of music "I Am His Child", we are reminded of God who loves us and makes us His children. He knows what we are going through. "I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble (suffering, distress). But take courage! I have overcome the world." (See John 16:33)

God Almighty is in control. He doesn't change, although everything else changes (see Hebrews 13:8). And He promised this: “I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (See Matthew 28:20)

Then in all circumstances we can say, "But what I am, I thank the Lord for making me His child."
