"Planning, Documenting, and Evaluating Adaptations for the Implementation of Complex, Real-World Interventions in the age of COVID-19"
Summary:
Adaptations are expected during planning and implementing of complex, real-world interventions. Adaptations are best to be embraced and studied rather than ignored or suppressed. Purposefully made adaptations are critical to ensuring the fit between the EBI and implementation strategies and the local implementation context. Guidance on how to plan for, systematically document, and evaluate the impact of adaptations is needed–especially given the impact of the SARS-CoV-19 pandemic on the delivery of healthcare and interventions. This session provides a hands-on training on the key concepts and activities related to adaptations along with an easy-to-follow guide, resources, and examples.
