Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland is Ireland's oldest university and is also known as the University of Dublin. Not only does it feature some beautiful architecture, but it also features the largest research library in Ireland. The Long Room, with it's beautiful 200 foot barreled ceiling, is the highlight of the library. It contains the library's 200,000 oldest books. You can find the rare Brian Boru harp there as well. Trinity College also features The Book of Kells, a very rare and old (over 1,000 years old) book containing the Four Gospels of the Christian Scriptures written in various ink colors. Trinity College was definitely a highlight of our Ireland trip.
