The News From Lake Wobegone, Minnesota was a 20 to 30 minute dialogue narrated by Garrison Keillor and was a feature of a radio show called A Prairie Home Companion that was broadcast live on MPR (Minnesota Public Radio) back in the 80s every Saturday night and ran for 2 hours. I was fortunate enough to see the show live in 1986 at the Orpheum Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The show ran for 30+ years and Garrison traveled throughout the country blessing many of us with his gift and reviving times when radio was the only source of entertainment.
Garrison Keillor is brilliant and delivered such amazing dialogs that took you back in time to days long gone.
