Focus stacking is a great way of getting SHARP LANDSCAPE and close up photographs. But IF you want to edit using RAW its not so simple. Using this method YOU CAN.

I Use Helicon Focus Pro to stack my raw files and export them back to Lightroom as DNG Raw files for editing in the develop module. Using this method you keep all the quality of your RAW files intact so you can edit them to create the best quality photograph possible.

But that's not all in this Video I'm taking you from field to screen, so you can try my whole process and maybe pick up some new tips to use in your own workflow.

One of the great challenges of landscape photography is balancing natural elements, and artistic intent to get the photograph you want. And as you progress as a photographer the demands you put on equipment and yourself increases. Depth of field, selecting the sharpest aperture, the lowest ISO and the right shutter speed are common problems. But there is a way you can solve them all.

By the end of this video, you will know how I always shoot at my sharpest aperture, at low ISO, with the shutter speed I want and get sharp landscape photographs. It's easy with Lightroom, Helicon Focus Pro, Raw Files and good solid camera craft.
