War veterans in Zimbabwe have filed a case seeking the courts assistance in ousting president Robert Mugabe on legal grounds. The group has also called upon Zimbabweans to come out in large numbers in street demonstrations to put pressure on the 93-year-old leader who defied the ruling party ZANU-PF's 24 hour ultimatum to step down from presidency. The party says it will initiate an impeachment process in parliament.
