The UP Police have detained Zafar Hayat Hashmi, who is suspected of being the mastermind in the Kanpur violence case. Kanpur Police nabbed Zafar Hayat Hashmi on Friday night. The primary suspect in the Kanpur riots has been apprehended and questioned.

The video tells how organized this incident was. The mob was armed, they were carrying sticks and stones and even used the cart to stop piling the stone. The mob was ready to unleash its fury and on the receiving end were unarmed shopkeepers and also in many places the UP police. This video shows a man giving a signal to the mob. As soon as he gives the signal, the mob charges toward the shopkeepers on either side of the road. Most people wear a handkerchief on their face to mask their identity.
