80$. That is the cost of the BEAST glove in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This is a melee weapon that was part of Call of Duty’s crossover event with Godzilla cross Kong and the only way to get it, was by purchasing all four bundles regarding the event. Now, you’d think that due to the price, the Beast Glove would have some sort of benefit. Not in a competitive sense, but it could maybe unlock new animations or something similar. But no, it’s just a regular melee weapon, that does regular things. It’s 80$ for an average, run-of-the-mill melee weapon. You could say that it’s a reward for buying all other bundles, but that’s a lot of money for essentially nothing. This might be an example of a pretty bad microtransaction, but there have been even more egregious examples.
