It hasn't been a fast process but my nepenthes ventrata basal shoot cuttings are finally starting to put out pitchers! There was definitely a time I didn't think they were going to make it but they are doing really well now. Two out of the 5 are pitchering now and I'm assuming the other ones are not too far behind.

I'm excited that they are doing better but I would like to figure out a way to make the basal shoots take off a little quicker. I might try rooting them in water next time rather than putting them straight in the long fiber sphagnum moss.
