We traveled to Madagascar for three weeks in May! 🤗🚘🏝️🇲🇬 The country welcomed us very friendly and gave us unforgettable sights and experiences ❤️ Red hills, endless golden savannas, emerald ocean, dense jungle with hundreds of lemurs, small towns with clay huts, rice planted on neat terraces, smiling locals and of course children, they welcome you with the greatest joy shouting ‘Salama vazaha!’ (‘Hello foreigner!’) 🤗 For those wondering if it is worth traveling here, we answer: YES and YES again! ☺️❤️❤️❤️

Our three-week itinerary:
Day 1: We arrived at Antananarivo airport, our driver Rija met us there and we started our journey, our first night we spent in Andasibe.
Day 2: We visited Mantadia National Park during the day and went for a night walk after dark. Day 3: We visited Analamazaotra National Park, in the afternoon we started driving back to Antananarivo, on the way we visited Peyrieras Reserve.
Day 4: We drove from Antananarivo to Miandrivazo.
Day 5: We drove from Miandrivazo to Morondava.
Day 6: We drove from Morondava to Bekopaka. Day 7: We visited Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park.
Day 8: We drove from Bekopaka to Kirindy Reserve, went on a night walk.
Day 9: We visited the Kirindy Reserve, drove to the Baobab Avenue to watch the sunset, and spent the night in Morondava.
Day 10: We drove from Morondava to Antsirabe. Day 11: We drove from Antsirabe to Ranomafana, went on a night walk.
Day 12: We visited Ranomafana National Park.
Day 13: We drove from Ranomafana to Isalo, on the way we visited Fianarantsoa Viewpoint and d'Anja Reserve, watched the sunset in Isalo National Park.
Day 14: We went hiking in Isalo National Park, drove to Ambalavao.
Day 15: We drove from Ambalavao to Antsirabe.
Day 16: We drove from Antsirabe to Antananarivo airport, flew to Nosy Be.
Days 17-20: we rested in Nosy Be, visited Nosy Iranja.
Day 21: We flew to Antananarivo.
Day 22: we flew home to Lithuania 🙂
