Youth Engagement is something that scientists may have some trouble navigating and incorporating effectively on their project. This INNOBITES video on presenting and engaging with youth highlights topics such as, understanding the importance of youth engagement, asking guiding questions, collaboration between Youth Engagement Facilitators and Youth Advisors, and probable scenarios that may occur while presenting proposals. This video utilizes key practices and information from two primary resources - INNOVATE Research: Youth Engagement Guidebook for Researchers, and Youth Friendliness Training Research.
This resource was created by young people and mental health professionals, and was developed by The Youth Engagement Initiative at the Margaret and Wallace McCain Centre for Child, Youth & Family Mental Health at CAMH, with support from the Toronto Adolescent & Youth (TAY) Cohort Study.
