You can cycle from Hampstead Heath in north London to Waterloo south of the river in about half an hour, almost entirely on quiet streets and protected cycle lanes.
The route is a little over five miles long and makes use of the new Grafton Road LTN in Camden, which is essentially an extension of Cycleway 6. It also takes in the Royal College Street cycle lanes, Tavistock Place, Gower Street, and Waterloo Bridge.
