The Xbox 360 is BETTER than the Xbox One. In terms of specs and graphics, the Xbox One obviously is victorious. But leaving all of that aside, I explain why I always thought the 360 was superior than the One and the Series X/S. Ever since the Xbox One's release in 2013, I never really liked what Microsoft did with the dashboard and the system. I always felt the Xbox 360 Dashboard and Guide was so much simple and effective, leaving nostalgia out of this.
In this video, I explain why the 360 has a much more simple but good design that helps even new players navigate without getting lost. If you compare it to the current Xbox Gens, it's clear that they're now much more complex and filled with so much useless options. One thing I wish Microsoft did was make the dashboard and guide simple. We don't need thousands of options spammed in our face everywhere. For example, a single page in the current gen guide can contain 3 Microsoft Store buttons... THREE. Just why? Obviously, Microsoft wants us to be buying from the store and sending them our money. But why must it be spammed? Talked about a complex and broken design.
In the current gen part of the video, it turns more into a rant rather than a comparison. There was not much to complain about the Xbox 360 (old gen). But apparently, the newer the gen, the poorer and complex the design will be. And as an Xbox 360 veteran, I just had to give my opinion on this. Your opinion may be different and that's fine. But I felt like I needed to explain why I thought the 360 is better than the One (Series X/S).

One very minor thing I want to point out again is that the Xbox 360 recent players list works and is still 100% functional in 2022. The Xbox One's recent players list is still broken in 2022. The problem is that it doesn't function as it should many times. I can literally play a few recent games but the recent players list will not update and will still show recent players from weeks and even months ago. If you continue playing games on the Xbox One, that recent players list becomes obsolete and no longer serves any use as it's only going to show players from a while ago. This can be frustrating at many times if you're trying to party up with others or find a player. It can take days for it to update. Sometimes, it never even updates at all. this has been an issue for a long time but Microsoft never bothered to fix it.
How is it that the Xbox 360 (old gen console) has a working recent players list in 2022. But the Xbox One (Series X/S) still has the same issue to this day? Doesn't make sense to me but it helps prove my point that the 360 was a much more simple and 100% working. RIP Xbox 360!
