The Bag Palletizing Standard solution that Gizelis Robotics installed at Bletsas Animal Feed Technology company, is equipped with the Yaskawa robotic arm MPL 160II. A robotic gripper with a servo mechanism has been added to this arm, which is able to transfer bags from the pick-up point to the pallet depositing point. In addition, the system involves a bag tipping mechanism and special flattening rollers ideal for optimal product distribution, a buffer ready pallet transport chain, an automatic empty pallet feeder, an automatic bag sewing and label placement along with an automatic wrapping machine. A safety fence is placed around the system, light curtains and safety controller, while the user can change recipes and control fault notifications via a special SCADA with a high-definition HMI.
