I had a lot of fun trying out this tune. I've been getting a feeling for a lot of Chrono Trigger tracks, particularly the ones I can handle on guitar (more or less). I actually transposed this one to make it easier to play and to give it a more "folky" feel (open strings).

This is kind of an oddball mix. I threw in some strange percussive sounds, but I like the result. I included a pen sliding across binder rings and some vocal pops and clicks. It turns out that clapping still hurts my hand, which is recovering from surgery, so the claps are weak.

I'm still learning about Ableton Live and recording acoustic performances. I think this is probably the cleanest initial mix I've managed so far (not saying much, I know). Hopefully I can keep things at least this clean moving forward.

I altered the melody a bit, mostly as a result of just jamming on the chords and getting the cleanest take from what you hear on the track now (I am so lazy). Of course, there's a lot more to this song and I've only just gotten started, so there should be more to come! Can't wait to try some things out on this one.
