This is a story about a large family from Kharkiv that was forced to leave the city after a shell fell near their house. It was scary. For a long time there was no electricity, candles were running out, shops were closed, there was no work, money was just disappearing. At first we wanted to leave, but there were too many of us. I can't imagine living anywhere else but in Kharkiv," Olha recalls. "From the first days of the war, my husband started volunteering. Every day he helped people who were left homeless and without food. More and more people helped him. Then I joined his work. We received cargo and delivered it to people. Being a mother of five is not hard, but not during the war. I am very grateful to Ulyana, my eldest, because when I was not around, she fulfilled my role, and she did it perfectly.
