Hello guys I am back with another travel vlog, and this vlog is a special one, because I have showcased the famous and historical "Jorasanko Thakur bari". As I promised I will show you the historical travel series of Kolkata.
Now let's get back to our history lesson of Jorasanko Thakur bari, this is the birthplace of our world famous poet and writer Sri Rabindra Nath Thakur.It was build in 1784 by Sri Nilmoni Thakur and it this land was gifted by the famous "Sett" family of Kolkata to the prince of business in Kolkata that time Sri Dwarakanath Thakur.
And here Sri Rabindra tagore was born in 1861.
Entry fees here is 50/- per person.
Opening and closing time-
10.30 a.m to 4.30 p.m
Everyday open except Monday
There is a fine of 500/- if camera is used inside the museum or premises.
