For over 50 years, Galápagos Conservancy grant recipient Dr. Dee Boersma from the University of Washington's Center for Ecosystem Sentinels has been studying and protecting Galápagos Penguins, the only penguins in the northern hemisphere. Now, with industrial fishing and climate change threatening their already small populations, Dee's work is more crucial than ever.
