The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has blocked efforts by Members of Parliament from Kisoro district to have the house discuss the arrest of former Inspector General of Police General Kale Kayihura who hails from their district.
The legislators wanted parliament to compel the government to explain the charges against General Kayihura and why he has been held for more than 48 hours without being produced before any courts of law.
