Education and Sports minister Janet Museveni has said that part of money allocated towards enhancing the salaries of non-teaching staff of public universities was used to facilitate operations for three new universities. The Minister, who is also the First Lady was answering queries from MPs following a meeting with the non-teaching staff from Makerere, Busitema, Kyambogo, Gulu universities and Makerere University Business School (MUBS) who have refused to return to work until their salaries are increased their arrears paid.
