New Delhi, Sep 17 (ANI): While addressing India Economic Convention 2015 on Thursday in Delhi Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said bolstering manufacturing sector is a mighty challenge for the Indian economy. Jaitley reiterated the reforms steps taken by the central government in terms of Banking Bureau and hiring procedures in Public Sector Banks (PSBs), to rectify NPAs of banks and the stressed sectors like discoms, power, steel, infrastructure and et al. He also underscored the need of investment in manufacturing sector, SMEs and the agricultural sector in order to create more and more jobs. He also alluded to the World Bank Report and said tribal areas have jumped in the top six which highlights the scope of relaxing the norms for conducting business. Jaitley also said that ease of doing business and rationalization of taxes are two reforms are still in work in progress.
