Adrian and Nik Sarimah are 2 young turtles in love and enjoy swimming together on a reef in PKLG, called Adrian's Reef. Adrian and Sarimah are very different to each other. She is a beautiful and graceful green turtle and he is a hot headed and sometimes reckless hawksbill turtle from the wild side of the reef. One day Adrian is made to swim away to Penang by Sarimah's guardian, a much older turtle because he believes that Adrian is not the right boyfriend for her and does not like his kind.
Sarimah is heartbroken and overcome with sadness and kisses Adrian on the cheek for the last time, as he walks out the door on his long swim to Penang, never to see her again. One of Sarimah's friends informs her that, Adrian is being tempted by an ugly old toad in Penang called katak. Katak lives in a dirty swamp and is so old and ugly, that nobody would ever consider that she is beautiful or could ever fall in love with her.
Sarimah who is the most beautiful turtle in all of Malaysia, is heart broken and distraught with sadness and feels betrayed and broken hearted and unable to control her emotion over this, so she confronts her guardian, begging and pleading with his better nature, to bring Adrian back to her and threatens to run away to Penang to be with Adrian if they cannot be together in PKLG. Sarimah's guardian becomes very angry and locks her away in a cold dark, lonely place called Highland Towers.
The evil katak has sent 2 demon's to guard Sarimah day and night, so that they can torment and tease her that Adrian does not care about her anymore and only has eyes for the geen and slimey evil toad. The continous verbal insults,by the demons 24 hours a day are starting to make Sarimah also believe that Adrian does not love her anymore.
Sarimah is trapped and helpless to stop the katak who is making Adrian believe that she is loving and caring but in reality, she is evil and cruel, like the devil in disguise, or a snake in the grass that uses venom to subdue her victims and cannot be trusted. She does not really love Adrian but cannot stand the fact that Adrian and Sarimah love each other and wants to come between them.
The Katak has tricked Adrian into making her look beautiful by poisoning his drink with a powerful Love drug, called Teh tarikh. Alone in a dark cell Sarimah calls out Nemo, who is a student clown fish and an amateur magician. Nemo is saddened by Sarimah's distress and brews a magic potion, from a fallen durian fruit that is rotting on the floor, to break the spell and enable Adrian to see the katak for what she really is. SarImahs heart and love for Adrian is so strong that her magic wins over evil and the katak has to admit defeat and to retreat back to the dirty swamp that she crawled out of.
Adrian hears of Sarimah's inprisionment and swims as fast as his flippers will allow him, through the Mallaca straits ocean, accompanied by the reef shark, giving him safe passage to save his true love. Unknowing to Adrian the evil Katak, is so slippery and slimey, that she has hitched a ride under his shell. Adrian arrives there to find guarding Sarimah at the entrance of the Highland Towers is the evil katak. Adrian has a brave heart and nerves of steel, so he quickly pushes past the evil katak and knows his true love for Sarimah, holds the only key to unlock her heart, release her hidden beauty and be the one to fit her keyhole ,to free her from this prision hell. Sarimah is at last free, but cannot seem leave the cell which has inprisioned her, for so long.
The evil katak has stolen Sarimah's soul to make her appear more beautiful to Adrian, in the hope that he will choose the katak and reject Sarimah, for not being beautiful anymore and all that remains of Sarimah is an empty, lonely lifeless shell, of her former self. The katak does not realise that to Adrian, Sarimah, is a hidden gem and a treasure girl, no matter what . She is the turtle of his dreams and all it will take is a kiss from his warm lips onto her's to bring her back into the world and in doing so, weakening the kataks strength and evil powers of control over Sarimah.
Sarimah is so angry with the evil katak for trying to steel Adrian's heart that she pushes the katak into the cell and locks the door behind her.
Adrian takes Sarimah's hand and battles the kataks demons, to quickly escape and exit the Highland Towers, after which a terrible landside, causes the towers to collapse and seal the evil katak's fait. Adrian and Sarimah get married on Adrian's Reef and have lots of baby turtles. There love for each other keeps them strong and nothing ever comes between them or tears them apart again. No longer does Adrian and Sarimah have to endure the pain or, miss each other over of a long distance kiss. If Sarimah is ever caught in a storm Adrian will be her shelter. Now they are together and met again there, 2 hearts are reborn together into one love in a perfect world.
