RAF Fylingdales is a radar base that's a crucial link in the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System. But now the North Yorkshire base is giving up some of its old secrets. Researchers are being allowed on the site to sift through Cold War documents, photos and even examine control consoles, once on the frontline of Britain's defence.
