Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has praised the decades-old India-Russia relationship. Addressing an event at the Moscow state institute of international relations on September 1, Lavrov said that India has always been one of our (Russia) key priorities and our ties with India are characterised as a special & privileged strategic partnership. He also lauded India for not supporting the US-led Western sanctions against Moscow over the Ukraine invasion.
