In this video I show you how to cook a pulpo (octopus) and how to prepare a garlic-yoghurt sauce. It is really doable.

Ingredients für 2 persons:
one pulpo of 800 gr. = 28 ounces
1/2 lemon
1 bay leaf
olive oil or colza oil for frying/reheating
no salt - the pulpo is already salty enough
the cooking liquid is discarded
Sauce:
1 big clove of garlic
1 g sea salt or fleur de sel = a good pinch between three fingers or half teaspoon
3-4 tablespoons of greek yoghurt
The cooking time for a pulpo is almost always one hour. A pulpo of 800 g may cook 50-55 min., the one in the video was 1200 g (42 ounces) and cooked for 60 min. Times can vary according to the heat and the kind of oven you use.
