Back in the present, Bernard swears in Juliette as Sheriff officially before she heads back to the office. Sandy returns not long after and tells her that there is no George Wilkins file. However, Holston did leave behind a file for whoever got the job. This happens to include a handwritten note and a cryptic clue. Before Juliette can look into this though, Deputy Marnes ends up in a sticky situation down in the market as he begins smacking around a guy called Frankie, believing he’s the one with the poison.
