(14 May 2015) The Pakistan government said on Thursday that it had urged Afghanistan to not allow its territory to be used by India's external intelligence agency RAW to create instability in Pakistan.
Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesman Qazi Khalillulah said at a regular briefing that "Pakistan Afghanistan bilateral relations stipulate very clearly that we will not allow our respective territories to be used against each other."
Qazi also commented on an article by journalist Seymour Hersh in the London Review of Books alleging that US President Barack Obama misled the public about how the US killed Osama bin Laden.
Hersh attributes his information to a retired general of the Pakistani intelligence service and several unidentified sources in the US and Pakistan.
He says bin Laden was secretly kept as a prisoner by the Pakistanis and that they helped the US stage the raid on his compound.
The Obama administration says the Pakistanis didn't know about the raid in advance.
Qazi also rejected the claims by Hersh, saying they were "baseless."
