Yangon visit/ Myanmar visit 2019/ Shwedagon pagoda

The Shwedagon Pagoda is also known as the Great Dagon Pagoda and the Golden Pagoda. It is situated in the city of Yangon, Myanmar. Its official name is Shwedagon Zedi Daw. It is one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in Myanmar. There are several beliefs around there such as it contains relics of the four earlier Buddhas of the current Kalpa.

On my first visit to this pagoda in Myanmar, I was really amazed by its overall beauty and sacredness. It seems all things here are in some sort of quietness or peace. I really enjoyed my Myanmar visit, particularly the Yangon and the buddha temple or Shwedagon pagoda.
