In this workshop, we'll cover the basics of laser cutting using an Epilog Mini Laser Cutter. We'll discuss the process to cut or engrave using the laser cutter, machine anatomy and acceptable and unacceptable materials to use. We’ll practice generating a laser cutter file to cut from CAD and go through applying the material settings to the laser cutter to complete a sample cut. We’ll do the same for engraving and wrap up the workshop with helpful tips and tricks.
