Hassan Radoine, Chairman of BAS 2023 and Full Professor and Director of the School of Architecture, Planning, and Design at UM6P, has emphasized the critical role of digitizing the construction industry in driving Africa's economy forward.
Speaking at the BIM Africa Summit 2023—the largest construction summit in Africa– Radoine highlighted the significance of embracing innovative technologies such as "Building Information Modeling" (BIM) and "Digital Twin."
He underscored that these powerful tools have the potential to empower architects, engineers, and the construction sector at large in optimizing the performance of various structures, neighbourhoods, regions, and even the national territory.
