CalArts' Provost Jeannene Przyblyski and School of Art faculty Charles Gaines sit down to discuss art and politics in relation to From Asterisks in Dockery, 2012, an installation work by CalArts alumnus Rodney McMillian (Art MFA 02) that was included in the Museum of Contemporary Art's exhibition Blues for Smoke, 2012. This interview was filmed on location in Charles' studio in Los Angeles on October 16, 2013.
