When there is a municipal election in the city, FOCUS Springfield makes sure residents have an opportunity to meet candidates in a show called "Candidate Profiles". With short prompts that viewers see as text, each candidate is given the exact same talking points to respond to in order to share what motivated them to seek public office. This is a public service which is free to all candidates. FOCUS Springfield produces "Candidate Profiles" in the hopes of increasing civic engagement throughout the city. We hope you enjoy them .
