In San Vito Lo Capo, we discovered the most beautiful beaches in Sicily. At some of them, we felt like we were in the Caribbean. The incredible colors of the water are breathtaking.
The food in Sicily is an exciting mix of Italian Sicilian cuisine with many influences. And the ice cream, heaven on earth!
Not to be missed is the film-set bay of SCOPELLO, a dream setting. We also highly recommend the nearby medieval mountain-castle village of ERICE. An incredible view and delicious sweet treats await you here.

San Vito Lo Capo is a popular vacation spot for a reason. The town has it all—a dreamy beach right in the city, a charming harbor, fishermen catching fresh fish daily, a romantic lighthouse, and many beaches and breathtaking nature nearby.
In the evening, the center of San Vito Lo Capo turns into a pedestrian zone with many excellent restaurants. Spoil yourself and enjoy it to the fullest.
And now, onto the most beautiful beaches. San Vito Lo Capo's city beach is beautiful, but it's one of those managed beaches, Lidos with sunbeds and umbrellas.
If you prefer more natural beaches, the nearby beach Santa Margherita is perfect for you! A sandy beach with crystal clear water.

In the nearby Zingaro National Park, you can hike to small coves with turquoise water.

Our favorite beach, however, is Guidaloca Beach. A pebble beach with a unique backdrop, framed by rocks and with a Caribbean-like sea. For us, the perfect combination.
Here, we found the most turquoise sea on our entire Sicily trip. And all with that Mediterranean relaxed way of life.

Not far from here is the dreamy bay of Scopello.
You might recognize it; Hollywood films have been shot here.

But the area doesn't only offer beaches! CASTELLAMMARE DEL GOLFO is a charming port town.
A walk along the promenade is quite fun, and in Castellammare del Golfo, you can eat fantastically.

A highlight of the region is certainly the medieval village of Erice. It sits high up on a mountain, offering a fantastic view of the sea and the surroundings.

Don’t miss Palermo, the liveliest and most joyful city in all of Sicily.
Here, Sicilian opulence meets shabby authenticity.

And if you have more time in Sicily, don't miss the active volcano Mount Etna. That's a real adventure.
Also, Taormina, the baroque cities Noto and Ragusa, but also Siracusa and the Greek ruins of Agrigento are absolutely worth a visit.
