If your Compass starts fine one day then cranks but does not fire the next, it may be a corroded contact on the relay board below the drivers side headlight. Remove the second relay from the back. Jumper the two large contacts. If the car starts, then you need remove the drivers front tire and the inner fender liner. remove the relay board and cobble a wiring repair.
