Professional artist Geoff Kersey paints the path below Millstone Edge in Derbyshire's Peak District in watercolour.

After visiting the scene on a cold day Geoff uses his reference material to paint this characterful scene, adding warmth into it, so it appears to be a brighter day.

Geoff uses rough paper to create texture in the painting and reveals some clever dry brush techniques to make the old mill stones look weathered, before adding shadows to complete the scene.
