Hello Everyone! This is an introduction to Tilda terminal emulator.

A terminal in Linux is a program that provides a window or interface to run shell.

Shell is a program that executes commands or interact with your computer. Nowadays majority of linux distro uses Bash as default shell.

However terminal on your system depends on your linux distro. Gnome-terminal, knosole, xterm are few of them.

But there are variety of other linux terminals like Tilda, termite, quake, rxvt etc each has their own speciality and features set.


In this video, we will checkout Tilda terminal and how to customise it.
