This is my full and thorough look at the Bogner Ecstasy Mini Amp Head!
After getting a very quick preview of this amp at 42 Gear Street Three in summer of 2021, I was itching to get a proper look at it with my guitars and recording rig, and here are the results.

For those unfamiliar with the concept, the Ecstasy Mini is part of Boutique Amps Distribution’s Mini Amp range, where they take classic tube amp heads and shrink them down into tiny packages with correspondingly tiny price tags.
The Ecstasy Mini is their take on the full-sized iconic Ecstasy amp. This petite version costs around €299 (or around $300 in North America), and it’s solid state – rather than tube – with a 30-watt Class D power amp. Despite one having one channel, the Ecstasy Mini promises plenty of versatility, and alongside the three-band EQ and Volume, Presence and Gain controls, you also have Variac (which boosts the gain and lowers the volume a bit – it’s an Eddie Van Halen thing!), Gain, Mid Frequency and Pre-EQ switches to further tweak the tones to your liking.
In this video, I try and get as many different tones out of the Ecstasy Mini as I can using my Fender Telecaster (for single coil tones) and my humbucker-equipped Epiphone Les Paul. Don’t expect any proper cleans (although I do try!) but I also cover classic rock, indie, alt rock, punk, progressive rock, and some metal too, and at the end I also do a nice loop with each guitar where we tweak the Ecstasy Mini’s controls to see what extremes it’ll get to!

28:36 Your feedback wanted and goodbye
My setup was as follows: I ran the Ecstasy Mini into the ENGL Cabloader pedal (which I used as a DI and a cabinet simulator). This went into my Focusrite Scarlett 2i4, which went into Logic Pro X. That's it. No post-processing on the sounds was done.
Here’s some links to those bits of gear:
