This video shows a real-life example of how paddling conditions can change quickly and make, for example, an inflatable kayaking trip more dramatic quickly. The conditions shown here were on lake Vättern, Sweden's second largest lake, beginning of June 2024, and included changes compared to the calmer weather forecast, both in wind speed and direction. In the video, Patrik Vuorio discusses how to stay safe and prepared for cases like these, and good paddling practices.
This paddling trip was between #Vadstena and #Motala as part of my #paddlingin100cities project.
