Of course light is important, what else is photography if it is not about "painting with light."

In this video I wade out further and further into the bay, evaluating and controlling the light as I go. I aim to combine the raw elements before me: rock, water and sky with an exciting creative process to capture the highly dynamic, saturated vista before me.

I'm exclusively a Medium Format photographer, the Fuji GFX100 being my camera of choice. Wide and ultra-wide angle seascapes are my passion.

I specialise in large format print focusing on creating fine art images best viewed on a wall.
