In the 6th episode of our Poland series, visit Snowlandia, a unique snow theme park in Zakopane.
The theme park lies on the outskirts of town and is about a 20 minute walk from the main street in the centre of town.
The park includes the worlds largest snow maze, made from individual blocks of ice, quite a fascinating feat. The park also consist of an igloo with ice carvings of Disney characters as well as other fairytale characters.
There is also a big snow castle with its own corridors and steps up to a roof, overlooking the park. From the roof you can slide down the side of the castle on a big mattress.
Its all good fun and definitely worth a visit and a great way to keep the kids entertained if you are visiting Zakopane.
