How can public health experts and politicians work together to build up trust in science among community when facing a pandemic? How can politicians build up trust in vaccination? To get answers to these and other questions, we talked to Dr. Michael Moore AM who is a Former Minister of Health and Community Care and was an Independent member of the Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly from 1989 to 2001. In 2017, he was honoured by being made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM). He is the Past President of the World Federation of Public Health Associations.
