2 years DIY rescue operation of a very broken Alfa Romeo 33 in Sri Lanka
When bought, it had following issues:
1. Did not start
2. Did not charge battery (dead alternator)
3. Windows were not operative
4. Handbrake lever didn't lock
5. Seats were bottomed
6. Gears crunched
7. Clutch hydraulics were leaky
8. Clutch plate was worn
9. Idle control valve was unstable
10. Fuel pump was intermittent
11. Exhaust was rusted out
12. AC compressor was dead
13. Engine overheated
14. Brake master pump was leaking
15. Timing belts were overdue
16. Had wrong spark plugs
17. HT leads were damaged
18. Fuel filters were clogged
19. Coolant hoses leaked
20. Battery was dead
21. Rear tires were worn
22. Front brake pads were sticking
23. Had failed emission tests
24. Dashboard was cracked to pieces (still not fixed)
25. Wiring was messed up so bad (carefully sorted but not restored yet)
Now it runs smooth like a sewing machine. Pure joy to drive!!
