In the CCTV clip, filmed in Leicester, a man can be seen entering a family's yard and picking up a broken jar. He then leaves the house - only to return 20 minutes later. In his second visit, he walks up to the front door and pours a liquid, later found to be petrol, on the surface before setting it on fire and making a hasty exit.
