Juba City Council is asking everybody within its territory to deposit garbage at the designated locations for subsequent collection for disposal.

On Tuesday, a vehicle from Juba Electricity Distribution Company, JEDCO, bearing registration number SSD 195, was allegedly intercepted for felling trees and re-discarding waste alongside a principal street near the graveyard in Hai-Malakal residential area of Juba block.

Juba City Council laws 2013, amended 2020, require all government and private institutions to keep their compounds and surrounding areas clean.
