recording an album is such a big project, including a lot of small tasks in order to present the finished product to you - that’s actually why I haven’t been posting much lately. I was captivated by all this creative work and very much enjoyed bringing these pieces in their full length to life. With my next couple posts I want to give you more insights on what I did: I started with arranging pieces, testing them out on my organ at home and trying to get a sense of how I want them to sound. After that I went to the church and started orchestrating them on the actual organ, which included a lot of back and forth between me sitting at the instrument trying out combinations of stops and recording them to go downstairs and listen to how it sounds to the listener. 🙃 remember my post of Beethoven’s 5th? 😉
