This video is a teaching aid for The Ballet which is found in the Level 1 RCM repertoire book. This is a video to help with final touches and getting to the final speed. I added articulation and shaping that I often use with my students. It is recorded at 84 which is the lower point of the range recommended on this version (84-92). I would go without a video as long as possible and use this piece as a great introduction to sixteenth notes if it is one of the students first pieces with a significant amount of sixteenth notes. I would also ensure the student has covered some D Major technique to ease into the reading of this piece.
