Horizontal Envelope
2 cut at 5 1/2 x 4 7/8 score on 4 7/8 side at 1/2
5 1/2 x 8 1/2 score on 8 1/2 side at 4 1/4
6 1/2 2 1/2 score on 6 1/2 at 1/2 and 6 and 2 1/2 at 1/2
Vertical Envelope
2 cut at 4 1/4 x 6 1/4 score on 6 14 side at 1/2
5 1/2 x 8 score on 8 side at 4
5 1/4 x 3 1/2 score on 5 1/4 side at 1/2 & 4 3/4 and on 3 1/2 side at 1/2
Covers for 1/2 gusset
2 cut at 6 1/4 x 4 1/2

1 cut at 9 x 6 1/4
I thought I use 1/4 gussets in my album but turns out I used 1/2 gussets. I would use bigger gussets and you can figure out the spine width by measuring the hinge like I showed in the end of the video.
Here is a tutorial on how I make my covers/spine. All you need to do is change the measurements to match your pages. Typically I make my covers ½ larger than the pages. So if my pages are 8 x 8 I make my covers 8 ½ x 8 ½. The spine normally is 2 inches wide for 6 pages with ¼ inch gussets. If your gussets are larger or you have different number of pages you can make your hinges and measure it and make your spine ½ larger than the width of your spine. [ Ссылка ]
