At USA Mitchell Cancer Institute groundbreaking research and treatment is underway. However, they also aggressively promote awareness and prevention.

"Cervical cancer is caused by HPV -- Human Papillomavirus. 99% of cervical cancer is caused by HPV. We know that 90% of that is preventable with the HPV vaccine," said Dr. Jennifer Pierce, Professor of Gynecologic Oncology, Leader of Cancer Control & Prevention Mitchell Cancer Institute.
